Precisely because often perishable and highly valuable goods are transported in these containers, our well-trained employees at the terminals and in the Altenwerder Damm depot diligently take care of the maintenance of empty Reefer containers and monitoring of loaded Reefers on the terminals.
With our know-how, we ensure that even more complex cold chains, such as the ripening of fruits during transport, are adhered exactly according to the requirements of our customers.
In accordance with current standards and knowing about customer and manufacturer specifications, we carry out so-called pre-trip inspections (PTI) before loading the containers, repair damage to the refrigeration unit and container and clean them. For this purpose, more than 150 power connections and 10 washing stations for Reefer containers are available at our facilities.
We pass on our knowledge and experience to our young colleagues during their training, who complete their technical apprenticeship for refrigeration and air conditioning technology mechatronics at HCCR. The constantly growing demand for qualified technicians offers motivated craftsmen and those who want to become one an attractive and future-proof perspective in our Reefer container business area.
We are authorized service partners of the leading manufacturers of refrigeration units, carry out warranty work on their behalf and supply business partners with original spare parts.
